The AE20128 Milliohm Meter allows for the precise measurement of resistive values, particularly very small ones from 0.1 milliohm (= 100 microohm or 0.0001 ohm) with 0.1 milliohm resolution. This can be used to measure current shunts, resistive sensors or PCB traces with high precision. The high resolution makes it possible to locate shorts on a PCB or measure the exact resistance of a jumper/bridge or a short trace. The four wire measurement (also known as Kelvin sensing) eliminates any influence of the test leads from the measurement results.

The kit contains all necessary parts, the programmed and tested microcontroller, the high quality, E-Tested PCB with gold finish and a 2x16 LCD with backlight. No additional parts or components are required! Yellow-green or blue backlight is selectable at no additional cost. A machined enclosure is also available (see below).

The USB interface allows remote control of the device and the included software to access the readings, log and analyze them. The easy, plain text serial command protocol allows easy integration in own tools and systems.

A comprehensive, printed, 45 pages Assembly and Operation Manual is included (in english, german and english manuals in PDF format also available on the enclosed CD). The manual covers all the techniques needed including soldering.

All SMD parts are pre-assembled, only through-hole components have to be soldered!

The USB option is available for only $7. It provides an USB 1.1/2.0 interface that allows reading out the values and full software control of all functions. The software is included.
