Expand your Dakota Alert 4000 series driveway alarm or alert system by adding a weatherproof Dakota Alert DCMT-4000 PIR (Passive Infrared) Wireless Motion Detector / Sensor that can be mounted inside or outdoors to monitor driveways, entrances, pool areas, service entrances and more. The Dakota Alert DCMT is powered by a 9V battery (not included) and sends a wireless signal to the Dakota Alert DCR-4000 receiver (sold separately) when motion is sensed and will flash an LED indicator light from the Dakota Alert 4000 systems and play your choice of notification tunes/tones when triggered.

The Dakota Alert DCMT-4000 is a passive infrared wireless motion detector with a 1 mile* radio range and will detect a person or vehicle from over 50 feet away and send a signal back to the Dakota Alert DCR-4000 receiver (sold separately) within a 1 mile*.

The Dakota Alert DCMT-4000 will work with the Dakota Alert DCMA-4000, DCPA-4000, DCRH-4000 or DCR-4000 systems/receivers and will not work alone.

Up to 16 different Dakota Alert sensors (transmitters) can be paired with the Dakota Alert 4000 series alerts by adding additional sensors (sold separately):

• Dakota Alert DCMT-4000 - additional (PIR) motion sensor
• Dakota Alert DCHT-4000 - additional rubber hose sensor and transmitter
• Dakota Alert BBT-4000 - additional break beam sensor and transmitter
• Dakota Alert DCPT-4000 - additional metal sensing driveway probe and transmitter
• Dakota Alert UT-4000 - additional push button that can be used as a panic button or a wireless doorbell also used as a window or door contact

*Note: Wireless range is maximum, line of sight, without interference. Obstructions such as trees, hilly terrain and interference will reduce range.

**Note: The Dakota Alert 2500 series alerts are not compatible with the new Dakota Alert 4000 series alerts. The Dakota Alert DCMA-4000 replaces the Dakota Alert DCMA-2500 with up to double the wireless range, but it does not have any relay or 12VDC output. If you need an output to connect to an alarm, siren, strobe or other system please consider the Dakota Alert MURS BS Kit, Dakota Alert MAPS BS KIT or the wired Dakota Alert VS-50, Dakota Alert VS-125, or the Dakota Alert VS-250 wired probe alert kits.
