This auction is for an Antique Raphael Raffaello Madonna della Sedia Italian Milan Chapel Souvenir Print Wood Frame Gold Gilt.

This beautiful piece measures approximately 10 1/4 inches in diameter and is in very good condition with no chips, nicks, cracks, breaks or repairs.  The motif is totally intact and in brilliant color.  The original gorgeous antique gold gilt wooden frame shows little to no wear.

Writing on back reads "I bought this in Milan Italy in 1928 at the Cathedral."

The Madonna Della Seggiola or Madonna Della Sedia is a Madonna painting by the Italian renaissance artist Raphael. It depicts Mary embracing the child Christ, while young John the Baptist devoutly watches.  The original is kept in the Palazzo Pitti collection in Florence Italy.
