This auction if for an Antique Unger Schilde Roschuetz Thuringia Germany Altenburg Iris Lusterware Relief Porcelain Handled Cake Plate Platter c1800s.
This gorgeous piece measures 11 1/4 inches in diamter and is in very good condition with no chips, nicks, cracks, breaks, repairs or utensil scratches.
No sign of prior usage.
The beautiful relief motif of a woman/goddess fishing and sitting with animals is totally intact and the glaze is bright and shiny.
Minimal wear to gold gilt (please see pictures). A few tiny bumps in porcelain under the glaze which is typical of the manufacturing process/conditions of the time.
