MATERIALS: Left over yarn form previous projects but they must all be of the same thickness eg DK or 4 ply or Aran. The sample is knit in DK/8ply weight yarn and yields squares of approximately 3¾”/9.5cm.
NEEDLES: 4mm needles (or size required to achieve tension you require)
SIZE: Any size. The choice is yours; make it doll, pram, cot, single, queen or even king size.
TENSION:
22 stitches and 44 rows over 4”/10cm in garter stitch. Please note that normally it is essential to work to the correct tension but tension is not really important for this project, you’re looking for a fabric that you like. Make sure it’s not too loose so it doesn’t stretch too much with the weight of the blanket.

LH Left Hand

RS RIght Side
slipsm slip stitch marker
sm stitch marker
ssk slip slip knit Slip two stitches knit-wise one at a time. Use left needle to knit through both stitches

Pattern will be sent typed, printed single sided, on A4, 80gsm, brilliant white paper.
To keep costs to a minimum, pattern will be sent FOLDED in a plain white envelope and not a hard backed envelope.
