TENSION:

One rep of Pat St A (45 sts and 40 rows) = 9 1/4”

One rep of Pat St B (11 sts and 12 rows) = 2 1/2”

Edging = 3” (6” including loops)

 

MATERIALS:

Worsted weight yarn approx: 1700 yds (please see note below)

Knitting needles, size 5.5 mm or size to obtain correct tension

Crochet hook size 6 mm

NOTE:

Worsted weight yarn has different meanings depending where in the world you are. For most knitters worsted refers to a weight of yarn and it is also known as a medium weight yarn. It is a perfect yarn to begin with when you are learning to knit. It is generally knit on 4.5 to 5.5 mm needles and knits up 16 to 20 sts per 10cm(4 ins). It is heavier than DK yarn and lighter than chunky yarn. Aran yarn generally knits to this pattern but if size is of importance it is essential to check your tension before commencing.

Dispatch 

Pattern will be sent typed, printed single sided, on A4, 90gsm, brilliant white paper.

To keep your costs to a minimum, pattern will be sent FOLDED in a plain white C5 envelope and not a hard backed envelope.
