Altrurian... Cook Book.  Compiled by members of the Altrurian Club of Troy Ohio.  Recipes are from the women of the area in and around Troy.  Many of the recipes note the contributor.  As far as I can tell, this is a rare original printing and not a later copy.  Printed by Kessler Printers, Troy, Ohio, 1897.  Whoever owned this book used it...a lot.  It is packed full of additional recipes, clippings, etc.  Much of the white space and ads are written on or have clippings glued on.  Many of the additional hand-writen recipes are also attributed to the contributor as if the owner continued collecting recipes after the book was finished.  The owner had put a cloth bookcover on which kept the original cover in pretty good condition.  We will include the cloth cover, but it is worn and nothing special.  The binding is partially loose, but still intact.  Overall, a great piece of Ohio history and made even more interesting by the previous owner.  Measures 5.5" x 8.5".  223+ pages.  Shipping in the US will be $10.  Plan on $50 for shipping overseas...if less we will refund the difference.
