SINOPSE |
O evento de Pride Bushido 13 GP é um torneio dos pesos leves, ou seja,
os lutadores podem pesar até 83kg. Final round foi realizado em Tóquio,
Japão, em 05 de novembro de 2006. A final do GP contou com 15 atletas e
três etapas, em sistema de eliminatória simples. Um dos grandes
favoritos do evento foi o Brasileiro Paulo Filho, que venceu a sua luta
semifinal, em 05 de novembro, mas não conseguiu continuar por motivo de
uma lesão no joelho. O evento teve seu primeiro round em junho, reunindo
14 atletas. Em agosto, o então campeão da categoria, Dan Anderson (EUA)
juntou-se ao grupo dos sete vencedores para as quartas de final,
restando quatro atletas que decidiram o título em novembro. Nesta
competição estrearam os brasileiros Luciano Azevedo e Cristiano Marcelo.
