An authentic, late 1960s, White, Blue and
Navy Windowpane Print, Short Sleeve Cotton Shift by Hob-Nobber in very good
condition. There is no size, country of
manufacture or care labels. Care labels
are required starting in 1972.
This outfit is in very good vintage shape!
There are no worn or thin spots and no patching. Seams can barely be let out. Looks like the dress may have been altered at
one time, seams are 1/2 inch and pinked.
There are no underarm stains on the garment's outside but some of the
seam allowances have yellowed. There is
also a pin hole at the left underarm.
The original owner's name is stamped on the inside neck facing. This may have been done by a professional
laundry service.
I have machine washed the garment on gentle wash with cold water and line dried
it.

When purchasing a vintage garment, follow the measurements not the size. Size
specifications have changed over the years and a vintage garment may have been
altered to fit the original owner. Also, remember to leave ease between your
personal measurements and the garment's. For example, a top that is 40" in
the bust area will not fit a 40" bust...it will be tight. A 42" top
will fit better.
Also a vintage garment was designed and cut to follow the body silhouette of
its time period. For the best fit, undergarments from the same time period are
suggested.
This garment has been carefully laundered and dried in the North Carolina sun!
When purchasing a vintage garment please remember that it is old. I may have
missed a fade or a flaw. I may have misjudged the year. I am happy to be
corrected.
All garments are vintage
items and sold...AS IS. I maintain a non-smoking, pet-free studio, but I have
no control over where the items I offer at auction were previously. I attempt
to represent my goods as honestly as possible, but sometimes something will get
by. If you have any doubts about an item, e-mail me BEFORE YOU PURCHASE!
