Vintage Royal Verkade 1920 Tin Biscuit Box From the Netherlands

Royal Verkade has been around since 1886. It has the tastiest cookies and chocolate for the whole of the Netherlands. These are sold under 2 familiar, Dutch brands, Berkade and Sultana. Royal Verkade also sells the world-famous brands Godiva, McVities, Carrs andUlker in the Netherlands. From ultamite pampering to responsible snacking. But all equally tasty.

Shape: rectangular, loose cover, folding edge box manufacture: seam
stitched, soldered to lid
Decoration: Background bobble white. Over the lid is a garland of
red /pink flowers, text in writing letters.

Tin box Size: height: 1 1/2 inch width: 5 3/4 inch length: 9 1/8 inch.

There is wear & tear due to the age of this box. Some writing on the side by the child that used it for storing his toy soldiers during the war. See Photos. One corner is separated on bottom part of box ensemble. Signs of splitting to one corner of lid as well.  Otherwise, the box is in good shape for its age!

This tin has been sitting in a box for decades. Great addition for a vintage tin or a Dutch tin box collector. If you have any questions please ask before you bid.
