Canadian trade dollar or So Called dollars were made for festivals, Celebrations or Events. During the event the dollars would be taken by select merchants in trade at face value. Many were minted in small numbers and are quite rare today. Great collectibles for coin/token collectors fans of the event, town or any interested person.
