These are LATCHING RELAY's with two independent RELAY Coils. In operation, one coil (the SET coil) is briefly
pulsed to LATCH the RELAY into one stable state.
Once SET, no coil current is required and another pulse to the SET coil will do nothing. To change the stable state
of the RELAY, the other coil (the RESET coil) is briefly pulsed and the RELAY will flip. Again, once RESET, no coil
current is required and another pulse to the RESET coil will do nothing.
These are very cool parts and i'm sure you can think of lots of potential applications, limited only by your imagination.
This is an unusual part in that is can =also= be used as a Single Coil LATCHING Relay simply by =reversing= the polarity
on either of the coils to flip the state of the Relay (instead of using the other coil). I actually tried this and was surprised that
it worked that way!
I was unable to locate the spec sheet so don't know the contact ratings.
However, i DID measure the coil resistances and they were seen to be ~175-ohms.
The coils are rated for 5V nominal.
Contacts are SPST.
Nice metal can package.
