Description: Part of the "New Grove Dictionary of Music and Musicians" multi-volume series on classical music and musicians. This is a great little volume containing short biographies of the great figures of the resurgent classical composers of England in the 20th century. It's a wonderful introduction to some of the best composers produced by Albion ever, who were responsible for many of the most enduring melodies of modern classical music. Covers are moderately scuffed / shelf-worn in oblique light, corners are slightly bumped, the spine is uncreased and solid and the binding firm. The interior appears completely unmarked.
