Double matted and framed, except the frame shows some scratches and imperfections on it, late 1970's vintage. The Lithograph measures, 6.25" x 4.75", and the frame measures, 12.25" x 13.75".

Urbain Huchet, born in Rennes on  and died in Boulogne-Billancourt on [1], is a French painter and lithographer. He lived in Pont-Aven from 1960 to 1963 before settling in Boulogne-Billancourt.

Biography

It was after studying law and an experience in the textile industry that in 1960 and as a self-taught artist, Urbain Huchet decided to devote himself exclusively to painting. He then lived for three years in Pont-Aven, painting landscapes, seascapes, animated scenes and portraits of typical characters in which his admiration for Paul Gauguin and Émile Bernard is expressed[2], before settling in the Paris region in 1963 and travelling to the Middle East and especially to America (Brazil, Peru, Mexico, the Caribbean, Texas)[3].
