This unit starts as low as 10Hz, which is not common for modern spectrum analyzers (they typically start at 100kHz or 10kHz if they try hard).

The listing pictures show a demo of the network analyzer capability of the 3589A by testing a Rockland 852 analog butterworth filter set at LPF, 20kHz, 40kHz, 60kHz, 80kHz and 100kHz cutoff.

The floppy drive is tested working. You'll need older DD disks to work it properly.

The unit has the following options:
- 1C2 HP Instrument BASIC
- 1D5 High Stability Frequency Reference
- 1D6 Time-Gated Spectrum Analysis (Very useful if you want to see the spectrum of the data bursts!)

A fresh NVRAM battery was freshly put in (2019). I bet you don't get this from other sellers, especially the volume flippers that doesn't know how or bother to take care of the instrument they sell.

This is a very solid, heavy, bulky unit so the shipping cost is on the high end. You are welcome to pick it up in Irvine, CA or provide your shipping account and I'll remove the S&H from the invoice.
