Book measures about ~ 7 1/2 inches X 5 inches. Condition ~ Acceptable. There are some small stains and some edgewear on the cover. There is wear on the spine (see photo). The front hinge is split (the pages ARE tight). There is a small mark/stain on about seven pages. The pages have tanned over time. Otherwise this rare book is in Acceptable condition!
About the Book ~
"Elmer Sherwood was the pseudonym of prolific American author Samuel Lewenkrohn (1884~? ). He was the author of the nine volume Lucky series, which ran from 1916 to 1922: Lucky the Boy Scout, Lucky and His Friend Steve, Lucky and His Travels, Lucky the Young Volunteer, Lucky Finds a Friend, Lucky on an Important Mission, Lucky the Young Soldier, Lucky the Young Navy Man and Lucky the Young Gentleman. Lucky's real name was Ted Marsh, and the series was later reissued as the Ted Marsh series. He also wrote the Buffalo Bill series which included: Buffalo Bill's Boyhood, Buffalo Bill and the Pony Express and Buffalo Bill: The Boys' Friend." ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
