Up for auction is an 18k Yellow Gold, Enamel, and

Seed Pearl Mourning Pin/Brooch.

The face of this brooch is outlined with gold bead's work

borders with seed pearl accents.

The central panel is adorned with striking Cobalt blue

enamel with an interesting undercut pattern.

The center of the enamel work is adorned with a starburst

18k gold inlay accented with bead set seed pearls.

Also the four corners of this stunning brooch is accented by four

different square pattern enamel inlay on gold.

The back of this brooch is affixed with a glass cover

which when the pin is not latched,

can be removed allowing it to store hair or

other personal effects of a loved one or a Picture !!!

This piece is in excellent condition for its age , has slight

chips/cracks/damage on the enamel work,

and shows some evidence of repairs, removals, or alterations.
