These tiles are brand name American Tile Company; this company merged with other companies in the late 1950's to form the American Olean Company.


These tiles are about 4-1/4" by 4-1/4" by 5/16" thickness

Using my digital calipers tiles measure 4.30" wide on the self-spacing lugs and .31" thick.

Tile measures 4.27" wide on the square edge.

These tiles have self-spacing lugs; little bumps on the edges that separate the tiles for grouting.

Using a vintage American Olean tile chart, color is: #16 Tan Tint
