A hand-appliqued, raw silk wall hanging, depicting a hamsa, the traditional symbol to ward off the evil eye in many cultures. Pomegranate and fish accents.

This was made in the Jerusalem workshop of Yair Emanuel, which employs new immigrants and people with developmental disabilities. 

It is mounted on a brass rod, with a finial at each end, and hung from a cord. It is finished with headed accents in each lower corner. 

The wallhanging itself measures 9.5" x 7.5".  It measures approximately 12.5" from the top of the cord to the bottom of the fringed accents.
