Simply cut closely around the character with a craft knife or sharp scissors
Pop into your butter cream on top of your cupcake

Handy Hints
I covered the outside of an 8in cake with buttercream swirls and layer of buttercream on the top, slightly raised where the castle was to go
 
Using a sharp knife I made a slit in the cake where I wanted the castle to go
Laid the river and positioned the bridge
Then positioned all the extras, with plenty left overs for you to create your own design
I did make a slit in all the places where I pushed the wafer character into-made it easier :)
 
Lastly, I put the name banner to the front....Ta Dah!!
