This light weight marine engine insulation tape reflects radiant heat away from wires, lines, and more on your vessel. This marine sound insulation engine tape is an excellent way to insulate components without disassembly, or use it as a means to finish off other forms of thermal insulation to prevent fraying. Marine sound insulation really goes hand in hand with our Thermaflect Sleeve, to seal ends to loom or line and prevent heat from sneaking in behind the sleeve in your engine room! This foil marine sound insulation tape is very economical compared to other forms of heat protective tape, cuts easily, and has a self-adhesive backing that sticks to any clean surface. This reflective heat shield tape withstands 1000°F of continuous radiant heat and up to 400°F direct contact.
