Welcome CE Marking

CE Marking to BS EN 1090-1 became a legal requirement on all manufactured structural steel products on 1st July 2014.

SMC fabrications Ltd are fully compliant to BS EN 1090-1, CE Exc Class 2, with all structural steel products manufactured to this standard and carrying the CE Mark.

With the introduction of CE Marking, it places obligations not only on ourselves as the manufacturer of structural steel, but also on the client and / or the principal contractor to make sure that steel products specified for a project comply with the correct execution class and carry the CE Mark.
