The Mitex General Xtreme is a great new addition to the Mitex range. IP66 rated means it's almost waterproof and it's strong, robust design means this radio will work just as hard as you, even in the harshest environments. Programmed to the same channels as the Mitex General this is a great upgrade option if you already have existing Mitex radios. And as on all Mitex models, channels 13-15 are all the same so even if you have other Mitex models, you can still keep communication going. As with all Mitex radios, these come pre-programmed to UK Business Light frequencies so all you need to do is send off the application form that comes in the box with your license fee of £75 (which covers you for 5 years regardless of the quantity of radios) and you're all set! Completely hassle free communications at your fingertips. The radios also come with a 12 month warranty, giving you complete confidence and peace of mind when purchasing.
Because the range of a radio varies depending on the environment you use it in, we offer you the realistic expected range of:
Vehicles or buildings - 1/2 - 1 mile (up to 1.5km)Built up areas - 1 - 2 miles (up to 3km)Wide open spaces - 3-5 miles (up to 8km)
