These Drills are designed for drilling abrasive materials when drilling accuracy must be maintained. They are also used in high temperature drilling applications. Solid Carbide Drills are used for drilling cast iron, aluminum, copper, plastics, bronze and other similar materials. Solid Carbide drills are NOT recommended for drilling steel.
