Belt sizing is different from pants sizing. Please follow my measuring instructions below and refer to the sizing illustration included in the product photos before placing your order.
I make this belt in my Colorado Springs workshop from one solid strip of full-grain buffalo leather. There are no bonded leather layers, cardboard fillers, synthetic cores, or manmade materials hidden inside.
The leather has an oil-tanned, oil pull-up finish that gives it a rich appearance and a comfortable feel. At approximately 8 to 9 ounces, or about 3.5mm to 3.8mm thick, it has enough substance for everyday use without being overly heavy or bulky.
This is one of those belts that can cover a lot of ground. Wear it with jeans or khakis as a casual belt, pair it with work pants, dress it up when appropriate, or use it as a sturdy everyday or concealed-carry belt.

Oil pull-up leather is treated with oils during the finishing process. When the leather bends, flexes, or is stretched, those oils shift within the hide and can create subtle lighter and darker areas.
That movement gives the leather a rich, natural appearance that develops more character with use. Rather than looking perfectly uniform, the belt will gradually reflect how it is worn and handled.
Full-grain leather is a natural material. Grain pattern, texture, pull-up, color, and thickness can vary slightly from one hide to another. I consider those variations part of the character of real leather, and they help make each belt a little different.
Measuring a belt you already wear is the most reliable way to choose the correct size.

I will size your new belt so the measurement you provide lands on the center fitting hole. That gives you adjustment room in both directions. It does not matter whether you currently wear your old belt on its first, middle, or last hole—measure to the hole you actually use most often.
