About the item:  Rare collection of 14 antique Indian Kashmir papier mache bowls etc, c 1920. There are 14 pieces in total: 1 large circular bowl;10 medium sized bowls;1 small bowl; 1 square match box holder; 1 circular cylinder shaped pot with lid. The quality of the decoration is amazing and the colours are still vibrant with a lovely gold/green background and depictions of exotic birds etc. The large bowl has a painted makers mark ' Made by Ganemede, Srinagar, Kashmir, India' and some have paper price labels. All have aged well with great patina and they are in good original condition with only minor surface wear in line with age and use.Please refer to the detailed photographs and feel free to contact me with any questions or if you would like to view the item.
