These tiles are 4-3/8 inches by 4-3/8 inches and about 5/16 inch thick.
Using my digital caliper this tile measures .35 of an inch thick and 4.40 inches wide on the self-spacing lugs.
These tiles have self-spacing lugs; little bumps on the edges that separate the tiles for grouting.
These New Old Stock tiles have a soft matte finish.
These tiles are made by the Mosaic Tile Company of Zanesville, Ohio…1894-1967
Imprinted on back of tiles is: Mosaic with numbers, MADE IN USA

Mosaic Tile Company of Zanesville, Ohio, was started by Karl Langerbeck and Herman Mueller in 1894. Frederick Hurten Rhead, the famous potter, worked at Mosaic Tile Company from 1922 to 1923. Many types of plain and ornamental tiles were made until 1959. The company closed in 1967.
