If you cant simplest way to use is to run your old worn pad over a sheet of sandpaper until it is smooth,clean all dust from it and apply new pad,Please allow approx. 12hrs before use for glue to set

This works very well thank you - peeled off the old hooks (though sanding them off would probably also have worked). Cut to shape ... cut some vacuum holes (not so easy), then stuck it on. left it with a bit of pressure for a day or two, now sander is as good as new.Thank you - great solution.

Couldn't get the manufacturer's part for my sander so thought I'd try this. I found removing the original one altogether worked fine (instructions say to sand it smooth and stick the new one on the old one). Mark holes for air suction and rest the pad on scrap wood when drilling and you'll have the perfect replacement
