EA EB ED EF EL Falcon - AU Upper Arm Caster Adapters - More Camber & Caster

EA EB ED EF EL Falcon - AU Upper Arm Caster Adapters - More Camber & Caster
Rollin Motorsport AU Upper Arm Caster Adapters. These allow fitment of AU Front Upper Control Arms to an EA, EB, ED, EF or EL Falcon (and NA, NC, NF, NL Fairlane), giving more caster than what is possible with factory upper arms, giving improved cornering grip. Factory arms normally get around 4 degrees caster, with these adapters and AU arms you can see 9+ degrees.
AU Upper Arms are slightly longer than E-Series arms, which will give you more camber for the same amount of shims. We recommend halving the amount of shims before going for a proper wheel alignment. AU upper arm mounts also come with longer bolts, meaning you can fit more shims before requiring a camber kit.
This item is for one pair of adapters (left+right). You will need to supply a pair of AU upper arms (eBay or a wrecker) and a press to fit the adapters (any local mechanic or suspension shop can press them in).
As Dan says:
More caster is good because caster gives dynamic camber – when you turn the steering wheel you get more camber than you have at straight ahead. You can either choose to run less (or zero) static camber to reduce uneven tyre wear while retaining current cornering abilities, or run your current static camber for much more dynamic camber on turns, giving more grip.
AUs already have quite long bolts that go through the chassis, so you shouldn’t need a camber kit for the AU arms, whether you want to run spastic camber and caster or near stock levels.
Use of these adapters with AU arms in an E-series Falcon on the road may require a modification plate or inspection by an engineer in your state. You may need to alert your insurance company to ensure that your insurance will not be voided by the fitment of these adaptors.
Every effort has been made to ensure that these adapters are manufactured to high standards and when fitted in accordance with the instructions you should have no problems. Usual story with any modification – All care and no responsibility taken.
