ARTIFACT: Wonderful and extremely rare New Hampshire State Police Law Enforcement manual, First Edition from 1959 printed by Granite State Press, Inc. in Manchester, NH. The front of the manual reads: “LAW ENFORCEMENT MANUAL”, “A MANUAL OF INFORMATION, TERMS AND FORMS RELATING TO LAW ENFORCEMENT IN NEW HAMPSHIRE”. The center shows the State Seal of New Hampshire, below it: “LOUIS C. WYMAN ATTORNEY GENERAL” and along the bottom it reads: “FIRST EDITION APRIL 1959”. The inside of the front cover shows an ink stamp that reads: “THE STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE STATE POLICE CONCORD”. Inside the manual is a citation dated 10-16-61 and was issued to the driver of a 2 door 1955 Ford, it reads: “LVR ACCIDENT SO ON MAIN ST. CAR OWNED & OPERATED BY WILLIAM BARON JR. OF 27 PLEASANT ST – PEMBROKE CAME OUT OF SCHOOL HEADED NORTH AND STRUCK CAR” and the citation is signed by the officer.
