Beautiful reprint from original of the R. C. Gorman "Portrait of Angelina".
Beautiful, colorful, detailed print of a Navajo woman  - Angelina with a large turquoise earring
From the Gallery of New Mexico - Santa Fe 1976

 R. C. Gorman has been called the "Picasso of the Southwest". He is an artist known all over the world. His works are in many museums and he is represented by galleries throughout the U.S. and in Europe. He works from the Navajo Gallery in Taos, New Mexico.

Sadly, Gorman passed away in November 2005 at the age of 74. When once asked how he would like to be remember, he replied "That I was a hard worker and that I cared about people."

Framed in a 11 x 14" solid  wooden frame with glass and double mat in Teal and beige that picks up the colors of the print. Print is 8 x 11". Total dimensions with frame are 13 1/2 x 16 1/2. Great addition to your R.C. Gorman collection. My photo does not do justice to the actual beautiful print.

PS: I can frame in black wood frame if requested upon purchase
