This is the part that makes the characteristic sound within a music box known as the comb or harp.

It is 24mm x 16mm.

It fits most Sankyo and Yun Sheng 18 note movements. 

 

When pins strike the needles or tines of the comb they vibrate and the note is heard. 

If you have a music box with a damaged comb this item is for you.
