Special feature for the 1.8″ fork
The 1.8″ tapered shaft is an original RockShox version and not a retrofit shaft. SRAM offers the ZEB Ultimate with a 1.8″ tapered option as standard. ( SRAM )
Anyone who has a frame with a classic 1.5″ tapered setup therefore does not necessarily have to forgo this fork. Depending on the frame, there are special steering set/crown race solutions or the possibility of a professional fork rebuild. Such solutions are also described in relevant MTB forums.
