This is a Division Furtive Type 40 limited-edition watch, numbered No. 026 of 1000. Made in Montréal, Canada. It features a unique segmented digital display (gold/yellow segments on a dark face) rather than traditional hands. Black case with soft-touch finish, black rubber strap, and original box + card + collector token.

How to tell the time:
Hours are shown on the top cursor/segment row; minutes on the bottom cursor. The display activates when the watch detects wrist movement (or bright light on the sensor). Single and double taps cycle through additional info such as day/date, moon phase, and other functions.

How the watch is set (unique method):
Unlike conventional watches, the Type 40 is programmed by light. From shipping/standby mode, expose the light sensor (under the crystal) to a bright light source (phone flashlight or screen) to wake it. To set the time and advanced features, navigate into programming mode using taps on the case, then hold the watch against a bright smartphone or computer screen running the a.djust.me interface. The screen light programs the watch over a short sequence. Full details are on the included card and the original Division Furtive site/manuals.

This one comes with:

  1. Division Furtive Type 40 watch (No. 026/1000)
  2. Original black box
  3. Instruction/collector card
  4. Collector token sticker on box

Condition notes: Appears unused/new overall, but the soft-touch coating on the case has degraded over time and is now tacky/sticky to the touch (a known aging issue with older soft-touch finishes). Display, buttons, and strap look clean. Not waterproof. Sold as shown—please review all photos. May require new battery.

A rare, collectible piece from the early Division Furtive series with a very low serial number. Ideal for someone who appreciates unusual technical design and limited-edition Canadian watches.
