You are bidding for:  Run To Earth, Mary Elizabeth Braddon, 1st Edition 1868

The condition of this volume; Run to Earth by Mary Elizabeth Braddon, can hopefully be clearly seen from the photographs and further discerned from the more specific description I have presented.

This volume is over 150 years old and is in very good condition for its age.  I have used my best judgement to identify only those defects to enable each bidder to make an informed choice before bidding.  If anything is not entirely clear, please ask me for more information or photographs before bidding closes.

Please note the following condition of this volume.

·      As can be discerned from the photographs, this volume retains the original leather covering on the spine and corners which appears to be crudely finished on the inside faces of the boards.  There is obvious signs of age-related fading, edge wear and rubbing on the leather.

·      The inside boards present with obvious signs of tanning and pattern staining from the binding process.  What should be discerned from the detailed photos of the inside front board has an obvious crack, however, the 3no. robust bindings still keep the board firmly attached.

·      As can be seen in the photographs, the pages throughout the book are soundly bound and in good visible condition with light evidence of foxing only to the end pages.  In general, there evidence of age-related Tanning which is consistent throughout the volume.
