Sakae Ringo was a Japanese manufacturer better known for stems, hubs & cranksets.

They offered these bonded frames ca. 1988-1992.

The frame is pretty cool: lots of nice details: internal cable routing, removeable drop outs, assymetrical chainstays.

This frame has never been built or ridden but has a few marks/scuffs from being stored for almost 40 years!

I was going to turn it into a retro-gravel machine with 650b wheels but the project never came to be and now it's time for a clearout.
