For sale is my 2017 Renault Kangoo Z.E. 33kWh electric van, finished in a lovely and unusual blue.
This isn't your typical white Kangoo electric van. It was originally a Renault press vehicle, used for motoring reviews when the updated Kangoo Z.E. was launched.

I understand that only two examples were available in this particular blue colour for that year, making it a rather unusual van.
The air conditioning is particularly worth mentioning, as many Kangoo electric vans don't have it. Mine works absolutely brilliantly.
The 33kWh battery makes this a practical and economical van for local tradespeople, deliveries or everyday business use.
It has shown approximately 120 miles of indicated range, although actual mileage will depend on speed, temperature, driving conditions and heating use.
Charging at home can make running costs extremely low compared with a diesel van.
There is no monthly battery rental to worry about, as the main traction battery is owned.
When I purchased the van, I had a new 12V auxiliary battery fitted and the air conditioning system regassed.
The 12V battery is particularly important on these electric vans, as a failing auxiliary battery can prevent the vehicle from operating or charging correctly.
The van has been used in my own electrical contracting business and has been a very useful and economical work vehicle.
In terms of bodywork, there is a small dink on one side, along with a couple of scratches and minor marks, as you would reasonably expect on a working van of this age. I'm mentioning these for complete transparency, and they will be visible in the photographs.
Overall, it presents well for its age, particularly in this unusual blue colour.
One feature I particularly like is the ability to programme the van to warm the cabin before leaving for work.
On cold mornings, you can have the cab warmed up and the windows defrosted before setting off, which is a brilliant feature during winter.
I'm only selling because I've upgraded to a much newer 2024 Renault Kangoo E-Tech electric van.
I've been very happy with this van and would happily recommend an electric Kangoo to anyone doing regular local journeys.
A genuinely unusual, well-equipped electric Kangoo with low mileage for its age, excellent working air conditioning, factory navigation, cruise control and an interesting history as a Renault press vehicle.
The fact that you can actually read a published motoring review featuring this very van makes it a little bit special.
