This is the Vintage Revell Civil War Raider C.S.S. Alabama in 1/96 Scale, released in 1961, and is still sealed in the original factory parts bags. I found this in a cleanout of my parents' house. My dad purchased this back in 1961 and he has been the only owner until now. The box shows some shelf wear. with a split in the upper right hand corner that goes a little across the top as the pictures show. There's also some wear along the top edge which then sent a slight crease into the top of the lid. There's also some tape residue. The tray has a push. The contents look like they have never been removed except for these pictures. The vacu-form sails are in excellent condition with a slight tear and crease on the edge where my thumb is. This does not affect the sails. The original instruction sheets, decal sheet, and Alabama Sticker are included. The rat lines have never been cut and they come with their guide sheet. The hull is pre-painted and looks beautiful. The two parts bags have never been opened. The one bag with the black and white parts has two small holes in it caused over time by the parts inside the bag. WOW! All Sealed Parts Bags and Original Owner, and Looks to be Removed from the box for the First Time! This is the one you've been waiting for! 

Unfortunately, this is a large and heavy kit which will impact, negatively, the cost of shipping. I'm starting this auction off low and I will let the eBay community set its value.
