Vintage clear glass Hemingray 512 insulator, nicknamed "frog eyes" by collectors for its two bulging, eye-like crowns on top. Once used on utility poles, this is a striking, heavy piece of glass that looks great on a windowsill, shelf, or desk. Also popular as a paperweight or rustic and industrial home decor.

Embossed “Hemingray” on the front. The back is marked “512” and “7 - Made in U.S.A. - 0,” with date-code markings on either side.  Measures approximately 4" wide x 3" tall.

Condition: Pre-owned vintage in excellent condition. The glass is clear with no cracks. There are a few fleabites (small surface flakes) near the bottom rim, as shown in the last photo.
