Antique sterling silver button hook dating to the late Victorian to early Edwardian era. This piece is marked STERLING with additional letters that may read as H & H or N & H due to wear and stamp style. Maker has not been definitively identified.

Button hooks were used for fastening high button shoes and boots and were commonly kept on vanities or carried as personal dressing accessories during the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
