Reluctant sale of my vintage Seiko 6309-8300 automatic week dater from November 1978.

A great and timeless Birth year watch for someone special.

In excellent condition, especially for its age, the 6309 17 Jewel automatic movement runs strong, and the day date clicks over both automatically or via the quick set function.

I’ve not had this watch serviced during my ownership as it has always preformed well keeping acceptable accuracy. But as it’s 48 years old nigh-on, please don’t expect chronometer levels of accuracy. The watch may benefit from a service.

The original Acrylic Crystal remains clear with no scratches or flaws visible.

The case also presents extremely well with no major scratches or dents, and retaining its original finishing.

Fitted on a top quality expensive genuine Crocodile leather Hirsch 19mm strap finished in grey to complement the dial. Please consider this with my listing price.

The dial is very dynamic with a grey sunburst radial finish. The Lumibrite lume remains white without any moisture degradation; but due to its age, the lume is pretty much dead.
