Digital Class-D Amplifier Board for 2.1-Channel Operation

High-performance 2.1-channel amplifier board delivering 2x50W + 100W output. Features wide voltage input (8-24V DC), reverse polarity protection, inrush current limiting, short-circuit protection, and overheat protection.

Specifications:

Precautions:

  1. Power input is equipped with built-in reverse polarity protection. Reverse connection will not damage the board.

  2. Output power depends on the supply voltage and speaker impedance. For high-power applications, we recommend:

    • Voltage: 24V DC

    • Current: >5A

    • Speakers: 4Ω load is preferred for maximum power output.

  3. All speakers must be mounted in enclosures (boxes). For the subwoofer channel, a factory-tuned enclosure is strongly recommended, as DIY boxes often yield poor performance.
Strictly observe correct polarity (+/-) on each channel. Reversing polarity will significantly reduce sound efficiency.

  4. The speaker outputs are in BTL (Bridge-Tied Load) configuration. DO NOT share a common ground between channels; otherwise, sound will be distorted and the amplifier may be damaged.

  5. How to check for background noise (noise floor):
Short the input terminals, connect a speaker, and listen. Under normal conditions, only a very faint hiss should be audible (typically inaudible from 50 cm / 20 inches away). If the noise is excessive, the board may be faulty. If noise increases when connected to a PC or phone, the noise originates from the signal source.

  6. Recommended speaker impedance & power:

    • Stereo channels (L/R):  4Ω / 50W or 8Ω / 30W per channel

    • Subwoofer channel:     2Ω / 100W
