Here is a great early French footstool in original surface, nice and dark , with absolutely fantastic lines ! For such a small stool such great legs on it ! the needlepoint is old could be original hard to say , one thing someone did at one point is repaint the buttons gold , when they did it , they smudged gold around the stool as well , as you can see , you probably could carefully remove it , we didn't try it just left the surface alone, this was done a long time ago ! 12 x 7 x 7 and yes the needlepoint does have wear as shown , but certainly is pretty cool !
