Ibanez Concord 754M 1972 + Case

From my collection is a very rare vintage Ibanez Concord 754M 1972 in good condition with a lot of normal wear, played and loved. (please click and view all large photos) and hardcase.

This beautiful guitar has the Gibson open book headstock and is a lawsuit copy of the Gibson J-180, made famous by the Everly brothers. It plays superb, and has a wonderful tone. It had a neck reset, which left marks at the neck/body sides. A common repair on vintage acoustic guitars. Something the new owner won’t have to pay to do. It now has optimum string height and playability. It also has plenty of sustain and note definition from the bone nut and bone adjustable bridge saddle.

Its fitted with a vintage Dimarzio sound hole pickup which sounds great with this guitar. It has a ghosting of a Mustang wild horse, from a sticker which was removed. It look great and is full of honest wear, scratches, and mojo. It is also one of the very rare Ibanez Concords and is collectable. Neck is perfectly straight, Low Playing Easy Action. The fretboard is clean and oiled, frets are polished. No breaks, or issues. The guitar has been given a professional setup, and is stage ready.

Fuji-Gen has a reputation for excellent quality and craftsmanship so the guitars they produce are highly regarded. They have Produced guitars for Ibanez, Epiphone, Yamaha, Fender, G&L, Gretsch and others.

Spec: Solid Spruce top. Flamed Maple side and back. Maple neck Rosewood fingerboard with Star inlays. Vintage Dimarzio sound hole pickup. Nut: Bone 42 mm Bridge saddle Bone. Rosewood adjustable bridge. Gibson strings are under slotted (like a vintage Martin) and the bridge pins and are made of Bone. Scale Length 655 mm. 12” Radius fingerboard, with a very comfortable C shaped neck.

A good hardcase is included.
