Authentic 1950s US Army GI Khaki Trouser "Korean War era" Uniform Chino Pants that are built like a tank and brimming with true-vintage character, these are the classic "stove-pipe" chinos that defined mid-century military style and influenced decades of casual menswear.  Pre-owned that have lived a life and tell a story! No frays or holes present but these have honest, authentic vintage wear that adds to the character & gives them that sought-after, rugged, broken-in look. Couple faint soil spots or small stains (black pen show location). Inner label are very faded and pocket liner has minor soil stains. Please view the photos for details, applicable measurements & part of description. Featuring a dramatic high rise and a classic straight leg, these sit beautifully at the natural waist for that mid-century silhouette. Iconic button fly with flat brown composition buttons. 4-pocket layout with coin/watch pocket. Made of heavy cotton with rugged "sail cloth" style pocket bags built to survive the test of time.  Because they are true vintage, they have naturally shrunk slightly over the last 70 years. It has a charming "period-correct" stenciled military laundry marks & "28/33" tag size  on the inner waistband.  Inseam can be letout an extra 1.5" material. Waistband loops fit up to a 1 1/4" thick Belt.

PLEASE READ BEFORE BUYING VINTAGE PANTS/JEANS -  There is no dispute that vintage garments fit different than pants or jean being made today, sometimes were unisex cut.  Vintage pants, particularly from the 1930s-1950s, often had a longer crotch line and a looser fit compared to modern trousers which means they typically had a longer rise, or the distance from the waistband to the crotch.  we advise that you take a good fitting pair of jeans, then compare measurements with the measurements listed here...just using the waist size is not a very good indicator of a good fit.
