The scene shows chalet-style cottages and the main lodge with sailboats on the water and mountains beyond. The back reads: Pacific Village, Fanny Bay, B.C. Located on the beautiful Island Highway, 50 miles north of Nanaimo. Sleeping and housekeeping cottages, all electric. Coffee shop and dining lounge. Boats, moorage, ramp and boat basin. Excellent fishing, salmon and oysters. Unposted, with a blank address and stamp area. No postmark.
