This antique photo appears to date back to the 1880s and is mounted to a card.  It shows a hotel or rooming house with a long covered porch and second-story balcony.  If you look at the third post from the left, there's some signage between this post and a man's head.  The first letter or two appears to be blocked. Perhaps some research can identify the location.

Measures 6 1/2" x 4 1/4".  Very nice condition with some discoloration and wear to the corners and edges.  It's a beautiful, early photo.
