No one can fully prepare a package for the horrible handling it will receive by the USPS or FedEx, but I try as hard as I can with quality packing. If the glass arrives broken - DO NOT OPEN A RETURN REQUEST OR ASK TO RETURN IT!
The package was insured and an insurance claim can only be submitted by the person who has the broken item so contact the USPS!
