Rare Thierry Mugler Couture knit top dating from 2001, featuring highly elaborate engineered knit construction in contrasting shades of brown and soft beige.

The fitted short-sleeve silhouette is built around a deep V-neckline and a striking series of strategically placed contrasting knitted panels. These lighter sections frame the shoulders, upper chest, waist and back, visually tracing the architecture of the body and creating an almost anatomical effect.

The placement is completely integrated into the knit rather than applied on top, demonstrating the particularly sophisticated textile work associated with Mugler’s more technically ambitious designs.
