This listing is for a rare multislab of the sea star/star fish Salteraster pulchella from the Ordovician of Pennsylvania. Rare. This piece is cool as you can see that the ocean currents have rolled and folded the starfish on the sea bed prior to fossilisation. It is easy to picture these little creatures tumbling across the sea floor and being deposited in the random positions preserved in the rock. Nice details of the arm segments still remain.
